Started in 1932 by Ray Whimmer as the Overhead Door Company of Toledo, we are the oldest operating garage door company in Toledo, OH. Currently under the leadership of 3rd generation family member and company CEO Lee Huss, the company has evolved into what it is today. The fireplace division was founded in 1982 and currently under the supervision of 4th generation family member and company president Michael Huss. The window and door division was founded in 1986 and has been under the management of Kevin Krabach since it’s creation. The roofing and sheet metal division was founded in 1999 and has been under the management of another 4th generation family member, Mark Huss.
In 1996 our Toledo showroom was opened at 1621 West Alexis Road allowing customers the opportunity to experience the vast offering of products first hand with professional assistance from our sales team. In 2007 the Sandusky showroom was opened expanding the service area of the garage door and fireplace divisions.
Overhead Door of Toledo has been selling and servicing residential garage doors, commercial garage doors, and garage door openers for over 77 years.
